We are booking charters NOW for the 2009 Ketchikan fishing season and will coordinate with cruise ship schedules.

Ketchikan is known as the "Salmon Capital of the World".

When fish migrate from the open Pacific Ocean into the protected waters of Alaska's Inside Passage near Ketchikan, these runs create some of the finest sport fishing for five species of salmon. You may hook a trophy size King Salmon, or perhaps land an exciting limit of Silver Salmon. Also available in this region are Red, Pink, and Chum Salmon. Alaskan Halibut, Red Snapper, Ling Cod and other species of bottom fish are found in the Ketchikan area waters as well.

Cruise passengers are met at your ship or on the dock and taken to the boat. Charters can be arranged for the length of time that you are in port, and you will be returned to the cruise ship pier in time for your departure from Ketchikan. Your catch can be taken to a local seafood processor where it may be vacuum packed and frozen, smoked, or canned, and then shipped to your home on a designated date at the end of your trip. Forms for processing arrangements will be available on the charter boat and the price varies with the method of processing. This cost is not included in the charter rate. We provide poles, tackle, bait, rain gear, soft drinks, water, and friendly service.

Captain Beck will take you to the current hot spots, where you can experience the challenge of hooking a "Big One" while enjoying some of the incredible views of Southeast Alaska. Don't forget your camera to capture any surprise visits of our Ketchikan area wildlife, especially the whale sightings. You will also want several good photos of your "catch of the day" to take home for sharing with family and friends.
